Mcleancenter Summer Camps

Mcleancenter has 2 summer camp or session options in Mclean, VA, serving ages 5-12 across academic, multi. Examples include Chess Camp; OFC Summer Camp Trips. The McLean Community Center offers a Chess Camp for various skill levels, focusing on strategy, tactics, and sportsmanship for young players. In Chess Camp, campers play and learn chess with Silver Knights Chess Academy. They have taught 100,000 children, including national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn and have fun! Campers are broken up by skill level. Activities include learning the rules, openings, tactics, endgames, studying master games and playing tons of games.
