SM Playhouse Theatre

Santa Monica Playhouse offers a summer theatre workshop for ages 6-17, focusing on acting, singing, dancing, and stagecraft, culminating in a full production. At this internationally acclaimed intimate theater celebrating over 50 years in Santa Monica, kids create and perform original plays and musicals in an immersive all-day workshop setting. Young performers learn acting, ensemble building, stage movement, and auditioning techniques from working professional actors. The emphasis is on collaborative creativity where every child has a role in building an original theatrical work from scratch and performing it.
