An innovation-focused day camp with hands-on STEAM projects and outdoor fun. Camp Galileo is a nationally recognized STEAM-focused summer camp program where K–10th graders spend their weeks building inventive hands-on projects — from coral reef models and castles to working robots and go-karts — guided by curriculum developed by a year-round team of teachers, artists, makers, and engineers. Each week centers on a different theme with age-appropriate project tracks (Nebula, Star, Supernova, Meteors, and CITs for older campers), so kids always encounter fresh challenges. The Galileo Innovation Approach embeds creative problem-solving, collaboration, and design-thinking into every activity, and outdoor games, songs, skits, and camp traditions balance the building work with genuine fun. Stanford Graduate School of Education research found campers carry skills like resilience and persistence beyond camp — making Galileo one of the most substantively enriching summer programs available.
